Spring Cleaning

We've had a bit of a spring clean of the blog roll on the sidebar. A few defunct blogs or sites have been taken off, and we've added some new ones.
Among the best of the new police stuff is Nightjack, English Detective. Though he's been a poster on here and elsewhere for some time, for some reason none of us had visited his blog. This was a mistake - it's an excellent read and heartily recommended.
We've moved the 'Politics' section a bit higher, too. Laban Tall has always been there, but maybe a bit buried away, and it's well worth checking him out - scroll down a day or two for an interesting piece about the mildly soft Judge Beverley Lunt. He's also good on smug white liberals like the comedian Marcus Brigstocke, who lectures us all about global warming on R4's Now Show while simultaneously flying all round the world on his holidays several times a year. Brigstocke says he particularly hates 'middle class hypocrites', by the way.
Also on 'Politics' are links to people like Theodore Dalrymple, Simon Heffer and Daniel Hannan, plus Wat Tyler's brilliant Burning Our Money, which chronicles, in painstaking, daily detail, the phenomenal amount of our cash which this government has wasted, is wasting and will continue to waste. Oh, and House of Dumb, which we also like.
Mousie is a tired and frustrated NHS nurse, and Old Andrew is a tired and frustrated state school teacher - also worth visiting if you need cheering up.
The old favourites - Which End Bites, 200 Weeks, Gadget, Bloggs, Chalk, PC Watch and Chase Me Ladies - are all still there.
If you think we should add anyone or move anyone, let us know.

Tomorrow, a neighbourhood policeman writes.

Until then, keep em peeled.

Thanks for the plug. Much appreciated.

Mind you, I'm not sure I'm doing what I set out to if my blog is cheering people up. Unless it's cheering them up by getting them to think "Thank God I'm not a teacher".

We meant by demonstrating that cops aren't the only ones with problems, Andrew.

So you do mean getting people to think "Thank God I'm not teacher".

Well I'm glad to have served a purpose. Thanks again.

You're right chaps, Laban Tall is very good. Thanks for the steer.

Guido Fawkes, he of order-order.com fame should be on the side bar as well.

guido fawkes is - where it says 'guido fawkes', under politics.

Thats why I wouldn't make a copper in a month of Sunday's. Couldn't see for looking!

DOH!

What happened to the link to Stuart Gray - paramedic?

it's in the list of nurses, doctors etc (under 'stuart gray, paramedic')

House of Dumb - thanks for the link, that's a good blog I've not come across before.

Paul.

I just followed the Laban Tall link and scrolled down for the stuff about the judge. Jesus wept. Why is this not a national scandal?????

Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah.

Is the sound I made when I read those fine selection of blogs.

Also: I'm not alone.

Thanks. Really.

The Toytown™ team would welcome (sic) a little nod!

"Tomorrow, a neighbourhood policeman writes."
Oh good. Is he/she going to tell us how they are going to spend their massive bonus for not working night shifts, and going home before most of the anti-social behaviour they are supposed to deal with actually starts.
Bah humbug!

Thank you. Its always feels good to be rated by people that you rate.

Also Judge Lunt is a well known local joke but nobody will tell her.

That chav scum site is no longer operating

So glad to see someone else hates the sheer two faced attitude of Marcus Brigstocke. "Several holidays of 3-4 days" and thats just for the snowboarding. And he's back home in time to get on Radio 4, attempt to be Bill Hicks and berate me for daring to have to drive to and from work every day to earn a hell of a lot less than he does. No several holidays here. Bastard.

Noddy added, Chavscum deleted.
cheers all
TCT

Tapaleat.

I'm honoured to be amongst such illustrious company.

Much obliged :o)

Spring Cleaning I love it. Get in all tohose dusty corners and poke out those holes

What about me?
